I have the best friends.
Here I am, home sick still and not leaving the house at all today, and craving a specific chocolate sweet (you knew it would be a sweet) from the local grocer. Called up one of my friends and told her the situation - and sure enough she took time in her busy day to go to the store for me and deliver it to my house. Bless her heart. And I feel blessed by heaven as a result. That is our fun story for today.

isn't it weird how when you're sick you still feel like eating chocolate? obviously you're not sick enough!!! but I find chocolate good when it is a mood/hormone kind of sick as opposed to a physical sick...lately i felt really peckish for something but cant quite seem to satiate the right flavour from my house- probably what i need is some high quality fresh baked artisan patisserie i need to trek to the big city for...

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're not so horribly sick that you don't want to eat anymore. And I'm glad you have such wonderful friends to go get food for you!!! I also know you'd do the same for them.

I think I'm going to go to the doctor today. 'cause I can't get enough of seein' those doctors! ;)
