We have moths

I expect they're living in some unintentionally opened container of flour in the pantry.
...
Consequently I am procrastinating (effectively) cleaning said pantry..

Can't say I regret it.  But I better get to it before too long.  :/
I'm kind of grossed out.  I'm very grossed out.  I haven't even seen where they're living and I'm sickened and horrified.  I shouldn't be.  I should be tough and not sickened by grubs eating I-don't-know-what in my cupboard.  But I'm mortified.

Okay - so that's something I might not be reporting on later, except perhaps to say that I survived.

Wish me luck.
lots of luck.
Wish for me lots and lots of luck.
Thanks.

  2. Zhen, I tried to kill the moths with screaming. It didn't work (surprise). But someone did come help me finish cleaning the cupboard. My goodness there were only maybe 5 moths at the most in the pantry, and they're those tiny ones that fly slowly so they are super easy to kill. But I hate moths. Hate them with I can't make it capital enough 'H'.
So everything we own now is in ziplock bags. And you'll be interested to know that it was some organic granola (that had set in my cupboard for 6 months) that was infested. I don't think that's where the moths CAME from, though. If they HAD come in that particular package, they would have been noticed months ago, definitely. =)
    ick
I am not coming to live in a bush (is that what you call it?). No, not for me. Maybe .. no - not really ever. Thank you though. ;)

  3. Sorry about your moth problem.

I forgot you had a moth issue, but now it's coming back to me. You don't like any flying thing. Right? Or is that someone else?

It's gross when food becomes infested.

Anyway, I hope you're able to get it back under control.

  4. I hate flying insects, yes. I don't even like butterflies. I have a problem with birds, too. Although I'm okay with (sort of) with my girlfriend's pet birds b/c I feel very safe with said friend. That's a high compliment to her. 'cause I hate birds. I mean they're okay if they're not in my house or near my person or anywhere near my person or my children for that matter. Then they're okay. :)
    Don't like moths.
I don't like flies either. I love killing them, though.

This year, though, I've done an excellent job of just 'dealing' and not panicking if there's a fly or a moth in the house. This has happened a few times this year. I didn't panic. I WAS able to get to sleep EVEN though they were still in the house. What I don't like is flies waking me up in the morning. That, I hate. It's not just that they're annoying - it's that they give me a 'start'. Like heartattack-start. It's not cool.
I'll be in bed resting (or even asleep) and BOOM I almost had a heart attack 'cause a fly touched some part of my body (I usually cover up my ears b/c I'm most scared of them crawling in my ears).

and now you know. I'll shut up now.
