Thank me later for not posting 10 pictures of myself..

Alright. So here we are halfway painted. I am still searching for orange eye-shadow - the same color I used to wear ::sigh:: when I was young. Really. They were some nice colors. A dark shade of orange and a light shade of orange/peach. Yes they were close to skin color. Yes it was still noticeable (to me) I was wearing eyeshadow. Yes, it matched the emerald green church dress I wore ::sigh:: when I was young. Like 25 years ago.

Anyway - what we've got now is carmex, a little lip gloss (shiny!) I love the shimmer. Don't tell anyone. And a little bit of orange blush (probably not noticeable unless you look or unless you compare to the second photo of me without any makeup). Also a little bit of my favorite color eyeliner (works great - I love it).
So that's all. I just thought I'd share what my "look" is - even though it is unfinished.

I suppose if I wasn't lazy and didn't have a thing against caking all kinds of crap on my face, I would consider using foundation or concealer for those blemishes I don't have (except for when I eat chocolate chip cookies).

=D

They're both my look, who am I kidding?   ^^

  2. Just beautiful! I don't wear foundation, but I do wear just a bit of powder. Helps cover a little without all the cake batter (if you know what I'm saying).

  3. Zhen, they are blue (sometimes green). They probably look strange b/c I have no eyelashes in right now.

Izzy, I DO know what you're saying ^^ Sounds like a good idea if I ever want to head that direction. I seriously just think that staying away from the cookies would do it. heh

  4. I can't see the eyeliner. What color is it?

Have you ever tried a dark eyeliner...like black or navy? It might have an interesting contrast with your light-colored eyes.

What color eye-liner did they use in your makeover? I really liked your eyes in that picture. The lipstick color was a bit off. I like your lipstick above better.

  5. It's hard to see the eyeliner in that picture. I have some others that actually show it. It's a teal (matches my eyes very nicely). I didn't put it on very dark this time. They used the same eyeliner in the makeover, but she put it mostly (I think) on the bottom eyelids and put quite a lot on. I only use it on the top eyelid.

  6. Hello - a real person steps out from behind the blog!

BTW, I have some orange eye shadow - kind of peachy colour. It came in a classy Lancome palette I bought. Don't quite know what it was doing in there...
