I've recently decided that as much as I love having crushes, I also hate them.. excepting of course the crushes you CAN tell that you like them so that a) then they understand why you can't talk when you're standing next to them and b) they may even join in a little harmless (with a capital 'H') flirtation. Naturally, I define flirting very loosely the way I define a lot of things.. yada yada nevermind.
Yeah, it's frustrating.
How am I going to bring food to my sick friend when I'm nervous about visiting her in the first place? hum? And why do I need this nonsense in my life in the first place? ah yes - b/c I enjoy it - I'd forgotten.
Well let's never let's mind about this.
At any rate, I hate it.
Did I tell you I'd painted my nails? I've never been in love with my feet before - not that I dislike them - but they look so cute now, it's delightful. Thank heaven for nail polish, providing hours of kosher fun.

I don't understand why you can have a crush and want to flirt with a girlfriend...if I was Cody I'd be SOOO INSULTED...you should be like me and only have eyes for the love of your life!!! LOL

lime green - are you kidding? It's a pale (nearly white when it's painted) pink ^^ And it looks fabulous on my coloring. Makes me look young. Gosh I look so young.

ReplyDeleteAnd I'll say it's probably much easier to have "only eyes for the love of your life" when you haven't been married to them for several years.
I'd say get married, make babies, and then tell me whether or not your eyes wander off into fantasy land sometimes.

ReplyDeleteWell I know what you mean about crushes - they have no rhyme or reason and you are a servant to their whim! But it IS cool if you can admit it. And a crush is pretty harmless. BTW I recently discovered that my mum is a crush puppy - and so now I at least know where it comes from!! ;o)

Thank you for saying hi. I'm still trying to figure out what to do on this one. At the moment I'm planning on hiding in my house for the next week and perhaps supergluing my hand to my husband's hand. There are mild drawbacks to this plan, of course. Will keep you posted.
HO I dislike some things I can't control too and normally get into a very bad mood.
